ECOLOGY + ETHICS
TL;DR; our core shiirt is 100% ethically sourced cotton, OEKO-TEX certified, low-impact dyes, WRAP-certified production, and vertically integrated manufacturing with water recycling and renewable energy initiatives.:
This garment is made using sustainable manufacturing processes that reduce harm to people and planet alike. The shirt meets OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring it’s free from harmful substances and made with certified low-impact dyes. The cotton used is ethically sourced through the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, promoting responsible land and water use across the supply chain.
Produced in WRAP-certified facilities and in partnership with the Fair Labor Association, this shirt reflects a commitment to safe working conditions, fair wages, and human dignity. Natural variations in undyed fabrics (like flecks and seed specks) reflect minimal processing and lower chemical usage.
The manufacturer owns the majority of its production chain—spinning, knitting, dyeing, and sewing in-house. This direct oversight allows for strict accountability over resource use, labor conditions, and emissions output. Their environmental strategy includes water recycling systems, alternative energy adoption, ergonomic workspaces, and a next-gen ESG roadmap targeting significant reductions in climate impact by 2030.
At Artificial Perdition, we make our choices deliberately. We partner with manufacturers who take the full cycle seriously—land, water, air, and human life. If it isn't ethical, it isn’t for us.
