INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USAGE RIGHTS

This page explains how designs created and published by Artificial Perdition may and may not be used. Its purpose is clarity, not restriction for its own sake.

OWNERSHIP OF DESIGNS

All original designs, compositions, and finished works published by Artificial Perdition are the intellectual property of Artificial Perdition, unless otherwise stated.

This ownership applies to:

  • Visual designs
  • Compositions and layouts
  • Typography arrangements
  • Combined and transformed works

Ownership refers to the final presented designs, not to the individual tools, software, or licensed components used in their creation.

PERMITTED USE FOR CUSTOMERS

When you purchase a product from Artificial Perdition, you are purchasing a physical item for personal use.

Permitted uses include:

  • Wearing or using the product as intended
  • Displaying the product in personal spaces
  • Sharing photographs of the product for personal, non-commercial purposes

Purchase does not transfer intellectual property rights.

PROHIBITED USES

Without explicit written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce or redistribute designs in any form
  • Sell or license the designs or derivatives
  • Use designs for commercial products, advertising, or branding
  • Modify designs for resale or distribution
  • Upload designs to marketplaces, print services, or asset libraries

These restrictions apply regardless of medium or format.

USE IN AI TRAINING OR DATASETS

Designs published by Artificial Perdition may not be used to train, fine-tune, or seed AI models, datasets, or generative systems without explicit written consent.

This includes:

  • Scraping designs for training data
  • Incorporating designs into prompt libraries or datasets
  • Using designs as reference material for automated generation

Creative tools evolve, but unauthorized reuse remains misuse.

LICENSED ASSETS AND THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS

Some designs incorporate licensed assets used in accordance with their respective licenses.

Artificial Perdition does not grant rights to:

  • Reuse licensed assets independently
  • Extract components from composite designs
  • Claim ownership over third-party materials

Rights extend only to the final product as purchased.

FAIR USE AND COMMENTARY

Limited use of images for purposes such as commentary, review, or critique may fall under fair use, depending on jurisdiction.

Artificial Perdition does not oppose good-faith discussion or critique. Context and intent matter.

REQUESTING PERMISSION

Requests for licensing, collaboration, or special use may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Permission must be obtained in writing prior to use. Absence of response does not imply consent.

ENFORCEMENT AND INTENT

These guidelines exist to protect creative labor, not to suppress engagement.

Artificial Perdition prefers clarity and communication over confrontation. Clear boundaries reduce misunderstanding.

A FINAL NOTE

Creative work carries meaning because it is intentional. Respecting usage boundaries is part of respecting that intent.
